As a new workforce, Youth Peer Advocates (YPAs) need supervisors and allies in the workplace to be aware of their guiding principles. This awareness will help ensure that the emerging workforce remains true to its defining characteristics and unique core values. Supervisors of YPAs should regularly consider how well their supervision practices align with Principles of Youth-Guided Peer Support.
