As a new workforce, Family Peer Advocates (FPAs) need supervisors and allies in the workplace to be aware of their guiding principles. This awareness will help ensure that the emerging workforce remains true to its defining characteristics and unique core values. Supervisors of FPAs should regularly consider how well their supervision practices align with the Principles of Family Peer Support.
